Meet our Team!

Francy and Annabelle are a mother and daughter who share the same heart for healing. Annabelle’s own health journey began when she was very young, and it opened her eyes to just how powerful natural care can be. That experience grew into a passion for helping others feel better in their bodies and find hope that change is truly possible. Together, she and her mom bring that same care into every handcrafted Haven & Roots product. Each recipe is created by the two working side by side with the intention that anything carrying the Haven & Roots name is safe, natural, and trusted for their own families.

Haven & Roots is more than just a practice, it is a space where each person is seen, heard, and valued. Everybody is unique, created with their own chemistry and needs, which is why no two people ever receive the same plan. The focus is always on helping the body return to balance so that it can heal itself.

If you’re ready to take the next step on your journey, we invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consult with us and see how we can support you.

My Story

IMG_6884.jpeg

I am Francy Turnbow, a  Board Certified Doctor of Naturopathy.  I am the founder of Haven & Roots.  Eighteen years ago, I began a journey of discovery when my child started facing focus issues at school. At the time, I believed that medication was the only option, as it seemed to be the path that everyone else was taking. However, after three years of dealing with the side effects of prescription medication, I realized there had to be a safer, more effective way to support her healing.

I started researching the impact of diet, emotions, and spirituality on focus issues in both children and adults. Through this research, I discovered alternative approaches that made a positive difference. Along the way, I also began to examine the products we were using in our home and their effects on our health. This led me to further explore my own health journey, especially after experiencing hormonal and emotional imbalances following a hysterectomy at the very young age of 24. Cancer had been a frequent presence in my family history, and I knew that if I was going to combat it, I needed to understand how to heal from the root.

As I embraced this path to wellness, I found effective strategies for healing, not just for myself but for others as well. The knowledge I gained was invaluable, but I felt there was even more to learn. This inspired me to pursue an education in Naturopathy which has deepened my understanding of natural healing and the root causes of many health conditions.

Today, I am deeply grateful for the different health trials my family and I have faced, as they have been integral in my journey. I am honored to now be able to help others heal, nurturing not just the body, but the mind and soul as well.
